SKIVING/SPLITTING:

CGR offers skiving/splitting of sponge and other select materials up to 56" wide and 5" thick. Materials can be split down to .031" thick with tolerances of .030" on most materials and .015" on materials with a firmer durometer. We skive material in sheets or continuous rolls from 25' to 250' in length depending on the material’s thickness. The ability to split materials in-house enables greater flexibility in stocking raw materials and quicker turnaround on sample and production orders.
