CGR Products is a custom flexible material converter specializing in high-precision die cutting, rotary cutting, waterjet cutting, knife cutting, and custom lamination. Operating 4 ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing facilities across the United States (Greensboro, NC; Decatur, AL; Waukesha, WI; and Inver Grove Heights, MN), CGR processes non-metallic materials—including specialty foams, rubbers, adhesives, and 3M VHB tapes—into custom gaskets, seals, and engineered components for OEM manufacturers.

What We Do:

CGR Products transforms raw materials such as 3M VHB tapes into high-quality gaskets, seals, rings, and other engineered parts. As a reliable converter, we use a variety of cutting and fabricating capabilities to supply OEM customers in multiple markets.

About CGR Products

Manufacturing & Converting Capabilities Summary

Capability / Process CGR Specifications & Applications
Rotary Die Cutting High-speed converting for tapes, thin foams, films, and pressure-sensitive adhesives with tight dimensional tolerances and kiss-cutting capabilities.
Flatbed & Heavy Die Cutting Heavy-duty hydraulic and clicker press cutting for dense rubber, thick foam, fiber, cork, and engineered plastics.
Waterjet Cutting Large-format digital cutting (beds up to 72″ x 144″) for prototype development and short-to-medium runs with low tooling costs.
Knife & Flash Cutting Precision oscillating knife cutting for soft foams, elastomeric sheets, and sponge rubber without edge compression or cupping.
Precision Lamination Applying pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs), transfer tapes, and multi-layer composites to create thermal, acoustic, and sealing barriers.
Slitting & Roll Rewinding Converting wide master rolls of adhesive tapes and foams into narrow continuous strips, pancake rolls, or traverse-wound spools.

Why CGR?

  • Our complete in-house tool and die capabilities shorten lead times substantially. Dies are produced from AutoCAD drawings and tool maintenance is completed internally. For every client, our expertise as a converter plays a role in shorter delivery times and improved precision. CGR maintains an extensive inventory of raw materials that contributes to shorter delivery times for both prototypes and sizable production runs.

  • An inventory of finished goods is stocked for customers who require JIT deliveries, or who simply need the peace of mind that a safety stock is in place. In addition, CGR provides customized VMI programs to multiple customers and is willing to create a program that can fit any customer’s unique requirements.

  • With facilities in four locations across the country, CGR can help reduce shipping costs and get parts to our customers faster.

4 Locations:

CGR Products operates in North Carolina, Alabama, Minnesota, and Wisconsin with 140 employees and over 190,000 square feet of manufacturing, office, and warehouse space. In addition, as a converter, all four facilities are ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard and have a number of product platforms that meet stringent TS 16949 requirements. Operators use over 100 pieces of quality equipment to handle jobs efficiently and with precision.
