Tapes and Adhesives

Tapes and Adhesives

CGR offers tapes and adhesives for products across industries, including those that are exposed to extreme environments.

Our goal at CGR is to provide options when it comes to adhesives. Since there is an almost limitless combination of substrates and atmosphere conditions that require sealing, it is our duty to find products that perform in virtually any use across a spectrum of industries.

Poron

Poron

Die cut PORON products offer excellent compression set resistance that enables durable, long-term performance for gaskets, sealing, and cushioning.

PORON material does not contain plasticizers or residual chemicals and thus does not become brittle or crumble. It is also non-corrosive to metal and is low-outgassing and non-fogging.

Open and Closed Cell Foam for Gaskets and Seals

Open and Closed Cell Foam for Gaskets and Seals

Foam materials are lightweight, versatile and durable, which makes them an ideal option across many of the industries that we serve.

We offer both open- and closed-cell foam materials, and our customers have used foam rubber gaskets and sealants across a number of industries including appliances, automotive, electronics, HVAC, lighting, marine, power equipment, and many more.

UL Listed Closed Cell Sponge Rubber with Adhesive

UL Listed Closed Cell Sponge Rubber with Adhesive

CGR Products offers three UL listed closed cell sponge rubber with pressure sensitive adhesive combinations which meet UL JMLU2 50E standards. These three listing include a wide range of sponge and adhesive specs that cover a wide range of applications.

UL Listed Closed Cell Sponge
These UL listed closed cell sponge with adhesive combinations are commonly used for sealing and gaskets in electrical enclosures, control panels, appliances, and many other applications.

Solid Rubber

Solid Rubber

While foam rubber has a noticeable bounce and cushion to it, there are some applications that better benefit from a more durable, resistant material such as solid rubber.

Most people are familiar with the type of solid rubber used in manufacturing being similar to that of a car tire. It also has a wide variety of uses as a gasket or a seal.

Fiber Materials

Fiber Materials

Fiber materials used at CGR are non-asbestos and extremely efficient to work with, allowing for maximum customization and completion of special orders.

One of the more unique gasket materials used at CGR is a synthetic fiber sheet with a Nitrile binder. This provides superior seal-ability as well as above-average chemical resistance.

Miscellaneous Materials

Miscellaneous Materials

CGR offers cork, graphite, metals and other miscellaneous materials to deliver a true customization capabilities for our customers.

We offer our customers some of the best variety of stock products available in the industry, as well as the dedication and attention to create gaskets and seals for virtually every application.

EMI / RFI Shielding Materials

EMI / RFI Shielding Materials

CGR Products can supply a full range of EMI-RFI (Electromagnetic Interference – Radio Frequency Interference) shielding materials into a wide variety of electrical interference issues and disturbances.

Modern electronic equipment often requires EMI Gaskets to avoid radiation of interfering frequency waves to other electronic sources. Maintaining electromagnetic compatibility can be an increasing challenge of the designers of today’s electronic and electrical products.
